Choose the route
Direct filing, priority claim and PCT entry have different requirements.
We handle Turkish patent filing and prosecution instructions for overseas inventors, businesses and foreign patent firms. Send the available specification and priority details so we can quote drafting, translation and local filing as needed.
A national patent filing requires a clear instruction on the invention text, applicant, inventors and any priority claim. Tell us whether drafting is needed or a specification is already available, so drafting, translation and filing can be scoped separately.
Direct filing, priority claim and PCT entry have different requirements.
We review applicant, inventor and technical documents.
We track formalities, search and examination communications.
Patent work begins with the technical disclosure and the route by which protection is sought. The description, claims and drawings should be considered together. A product brochure may explain a commercial benefit while omitting the technical detail needed for a patent specification. We identify whether the instruction concerns drafting a new application or filing an existing specification.
A direct application, PCT national phase entry and European patent validation are different routes. An existing specification may need Turkish translation; a new invention may need drafting first. The filing receipt does not mean a patent has been granted.
If you do not have a specification, describe the technical problem, proposed solution and supporting drawings. Drafting the description and claims is a separate task from submitting an existing application.
Send the specification, priority details and applicant information. We identify the intended Turkish route, translation work and filing formalities. Subsequent search and examination responses should be expressly included or quoted separately.
Review the supplied record, define any drafting or translation work, prepare the agreed application and report the filing information. Search and examination communications are addressed according to their contents and the agreed scope of representation.
The quotation depends on drafting needs, document length, translation, priority records and the chosen filing route.
For patent filing in turkey, confirm the specific filing or response task and documents to be reviewed. The agreed quotation identifies professional work, applicable official charges, translation needs, taxes and payment currency; later stages require separate instructions.
Filing is followed by further procedural stages; it does not establish that a patent will be granted. Search results and examination findings may affect the claims or the strategy. Maintenance and later response work should be budgeted separately where outside the filing instruction.
A presentation can be a starting point for a technical discussion, but it may not contain a complete disclosure. Tell us whether you need specification drafting or local filing of an already prepared application so the quotation covers the appropriate work.
Compare our Turkish IP services or send an instruction through your overseas IP firm.
For a national filing, we review the proposed applicant, inventors, specification and priority information, then agree any drafting or translation required. Filing is followed by the applicable examination and prosecution stages; submitting an application does not guarantee a patent grant.
If an international PCT application already exists, the instruction may be Turkish national phase entry rather than a new direct filing. Send the PCT reference, priority information and filing text through our PCT national phase entry service.
For a granted European patent, review the Turkish validation requirements using the grant record and specification. This is a separate service from national application filing. See European patent validation in Turkey.
Overseas inventors and companies can contact us directly; foreign patent firms can send a client instruction. Tell us the route, existing file references, requested deliverable and reporting contact. Request a patent filing quotation or review our workflow for foreign patent firms.
